SoftwareOne Holding AG, a top provider of software and cloud solutions, announced today that Brian Duffy would succeed Dieter Schlosser as CEO of SoftwareOne as of May 2023. This decision was made by the Board of Directors. Brian most recently worked for SAP as President of the Cloud.

"We are thrilled to welcome Brian to SoftwareOne," Chairman of the Board of SoftwareOne Daniel von Stockar remarked. "A recognized leader in technology, Brian has an impressive background and a track record for fostering innovation, growth, and customer success. We have faith that he will effectively guide SoftwareOne into its next stage of expansion and aid clients in getting the most out of their technological investments. I would like to thank Dieter for his exceptional work with SoftwareOne over the past ten years and wish him the best of luck in the future on behalf of the whole Board of Directors."

Brian Duffy expressed his immense excitement at the idea of leading SoftwareOne into the future. "Dieter and his amazing team at SoftwareOne have created a strong worldwide software and cloud solutions platform and services company that is dedicated to achieving positive customer outcomes. To help SoftwareOne reach its full potential, I'm looking forward to collaborating closely with all of the company's workers worldwide, the Executive Board, and the Board of Directors. Together, we will increase our capacity to assist our clients in gaining the entire range of technological and financial advantages that come with a move to the cloud, fostering profitable growth and adding value for SoftwareOne's shareholders."

In his new role at SoftwareOne, Brian brings nearly 20 years of experience from SAP. It was in this role that he created and scaled SAP's flagship strategic initiative RISE with SAP, a key strategic initiative aimed at moving customers to the cloud, in his most recent role as President of Cloud. Prior to his current role, Brian held the position of President of Northern Europe, where he had responsibility for the region's end-to-end business, including overseeing go-to-market planning, sales strategies, and partner engagements in the region. Additionally, he served as the head of the Global Strategic Initiatives team, a team whose role was to negotiate key commercial agreements around the world on behalf of the company. Brian lived in a number of countries during his tenure including the United States, the UK, Japan, and China. He also served on the company's global sustainability council as well as acting as one of the executive sponsors for Diversity and Inclusion.

"The opportunity to lead SoftwareOne has been a great privilege for me," Dieter Schlosser added. Over the years, we have seen great success and credit must be given to the entire SoftwareOne team across our 90 countries for this success. In light of the company entering the next phase of its growth journey, it is a natural time for me to step down and hand over the reins to a new leader of the company. To ensure a seamless transition, I will work closely with Brian to ensure a smooth transition."

Dieter Schlosser joined SoftwareOne in 2012 as the COO of the company and was appointed CEO in January of this year. Over the course of his tenure as the CEO, he has overseen the acquisition of Comparex, the successful listing of SoftwareOne in October 2019, and the transformation of SoftwareOne into a global provider of software and cloud solutions with revenues expected to reach CHF 1 billion by the end of 2022.
