SoftwareONE has appointed Brian Duffy as the new CEO

SoftwareOne Holding AG, a top provider of software and cloud solutions, announced today that Brian Duffy would succeed Dieter Schlosser as CEO of SoftwareOne as of May 2023. This decision was made by the Board of Directors. Brian most recently worked for SAP as President of the Cloud.

In his new role at SoftwareOne, Brian brings nearly 20 years of experience from SAP. It was in this role that he created and scaled SAP's flagship strategic initiative RISE with SAP, a key strategic initiative aimed at moving customers to the cloud, in his most recent role as President of Cloud. Prior to his current role, Brian held the position of President of Northern Europe, where he had responsibility for the region's end-to-end business, including overseeing go-to-market planning, sales strategies, and partner engagements in the region. Additionally, he served as the head of the Global Strategic Initiatives team, a team whose role was to negotiate key commercial agreements around the world on behalf of the company. Brian lived in a number of countries during his tenure including the United States, the UK, Japan, and China. He also served on the company's global sustainability council as well as acting as one of the executive sponsors for Diversity and Inclusion.

In light of the company entering the next phase of its growth journey, it is a natural time for me to step down and hand over the reins to a new leader of the company. Dieter Schlosser joined SoftwareOne in 2012 as the COO of the company and was appointed CEO in January of this year. Over the course of his tenure as the CEO, he has overseen the acquisition of Comparex, the successful listing of SoftwareOne in October 2019, and the transformation of SoftwareOne into a global provider of software and cloud solutions with revenues expected to reach CHF 1 billion by the end of 2022.
