Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter Inc., recently tweeted that voting on major policy decisions will be limited to those who have subscribed to Twitter Blue. This announcement came after a poll was conducted asking for Musk to resign.

In response to a Blue member known as Unfiltered Boss, Musk agreed that only subscribers should have a say in future policy and stated that Twitter would make the change. The day before, the billionaire CEO promised to put all future policy decisions to a vote and asked Twitter users if he should resign from his position.

Over 10 million people, which is 57.5% of the vote, wanted Elon Musk to step down from his position as head of Twitter. He had promised to accept the results of the poll, but he had tweeted more than 10 times without mentioning the outcome. When someone suggested that the poll may have been tampered with by bots, Musk simply replied with the word "interesting".

Shortly after attending the World Cup final match in Qatar, Musk made a dramatic offer to step down, which caused a flurry of trending topics such as "VOTE YES" and "CEO of Twitter". He did not suggest a replacement and even went as far as to say that no one who was capable of doing the job would want it.

Elon Musk has expressed his concern that Twitter may be facing bankruptcy and has implemented a rigorous work environment for the remaining employees after a significant reduction in personnel. In the short time he has been in charge, he has caused unease among advertisers, alienated the most devoted users of the platform, and shifted the focus of the service from reporting the news to being the news.

After the initial poll results were not in his favor, Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc., shared promotional material for the car company and Twitter's Blue for Business service. He also reacted to an article about Toyota Motor Corp.'s criticism of electric vehicles with a single word: "Wow."

Tesla's stock, which is the most valuable asset of Musk's, has dropped significantly since the purchase of Twitter. Many have voiced their opinion that he is devoting too much of his time to the social media platform.
