More than 22,600 bidders competed for more than 13,300 items over the course of a five-day public auction
The Ritchie Bros. Premier Global Auction in Orlando, FL, last week generated a gross transaction value of $244 million and included more than 13,300 equipment items, trucks, and vehicles.
Around 83% of the equipment was purchased by U.S. buyers, including 18% by Floridians, at the auction that took place between February 20 and 24, 2023. As far away as Belgium, Colombia, and Thailand, international buyers purchased 17% of the equipment. Highlights of the auction included 790+ excavators, 500+ truck tractors, 340+ skid steer loaders, 200+ dozers, and 240+ pickup trucks.
Halley Engineering Contractors Inc., a Miami-based company, and Caterpillar dealer Ring Power Corporation sold equipment at the Orlando, FL auction.
