As Part Of Its Monetization Push, Twitter Will Allow Users To Offer Content Subscriptions

According to Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, the social media platform will soon be able to provide subscribers with subscriptions to a variety of content, including long-form texts and hours-long videos, including content generated from users.

If the user is offering the subscription, this can be done through the "Monetization" tab of the user's settings page. This feature is available through the "Monetization" tab, after which the user will receive all the money subscriber receives apart from the charges the platform charges. For the first twelve months, Twitter will not be taking a cut of your advertising revenue.

Musk said in a tweet that the figure is 70% for subscriptions on the iOS and Android app (they charge 30%), and 92% on the web (that could be better, depending on how the payment processor is structured), Musk, adding Twitter would play an important role in promoting the creators' works, and maximizing earnings.

It is in line with what Musk has stated in an email to Trade Algo that Google has rejected Musk's claim and says it has cut the service fee for all subscriptions on Google Play from 30% in 2022 to 15% in 2019.

The on-again, off-again acquisition that Musk closed in October had impacted advertising income at Twitter last year. Musk has been bringing in new changes to boost revenue.

A number of product changes and organizational changes have been made by Musk since taking over the company a short amount of time ago. There were about 80 people working for the company when it rolled out Twitter-verified blue tick as a paid service and dropped about 90 percent of its employee base.

It was reported on Wednesday that Musk revealed that Twitter Spaces was nearly breaking even by now, when the social media firm spoke with Twitter.
